Maybe you have already meet so many “Standard” wedding ceremony: First welcome and celebrate the marriage couple, then they start dancing, at last enjoy the marriage cake with them. However, couples with high creativity may enjoy all those fun games which will include all the guests who come to the party.

Actually, having guests to be “in” in the wedding party is usually an excellent idea. Guests will get out of their chairs, meeting people who they do not know and finally, they are not observer any more.

Therefore, a game which is full of fun, creative, active and can be played by every guests who come is what the party needs. This part is probably always the most exciting part in the whole wedding ceremony. There are some wedding games which I would like to introduce to you.

1. First, find a DJ, or a master of ceremonies who will be the host. Then give the MC a list which is prepared before the wedding ceremony start. Now, everyone is grouped according to the table they sit and then listen carefully to what MC said. For example, if the MC said that he wants a brown purse with a butterfly on it, all the people with that item should run towards to MC as soon as possible. The person who come first will win this round and get a point.

After several rounds points will be accumulated and, a prize will be awarded at the end of the game to the group of people who have the highest points. Bear in mind that the items wanted should be obvious, and add some surprise if you can, like “a women with brown tie” will have a women who borrow a tie from men and run towards MC immediately.

2. Musical chairs: this is similar to original musical chair game but now, we use men as the chairs. First all the men line up and kneel on one knee. Now the women will play the musical chairs. When music stops, women must find a knee to sit on immediately. There is no “chair” to be removed in this game but, if either the men or the women fall down, or even both, when women sitting, they will be out of game. This is a little bit dangerous but it is very funny. Everyone will laugh and the atmosphere will become very relax.

If there are some guests who travel for a very long distance and therefore they don’t know each other, then this game may help them to get along with each other very well, especially the bride and groom. In this game you need a MC, who should be a very outgoing person in the wedding party. Then divide the people into 2 groups, simply by having people count “1, 2″ will be okay. You are now have 2 groups of people in the game.

Now, the MC will start asking some questions which are about the bride and the groom. Those 2 teams should work together in order to answer the questions. The group which provides the answer first will win that round and get 1 point. Answer is confirmed by the bride and the groom. This is another excellent way to have all those stranger guests to get to know each other and have fun in the game. By the way, this is also a good change to understand more about the bride and groom.

This is always good to organize some games during the wedding receptio because it can allow “stranger” guests to know each other and become part of the wedding. It is also good to fill time and not just a “dancing” wedding ceremony. No matter the wedding ceremony is large or small, wedding games is just for every people.

In addition, please do not assume wedding reception guests will be offended or annoyed by these active wedding games. Most people report to wedding planners that they truly enjoy being more active and having those fun games to play during a wedding reception.

By the way, do not think that those wedding games may offend or annoy the wedding guests. Most of the time guests will say that they enjoy the wedding ceremony so much by having those fun games.
